I prefer musical troupes and pickin' singin' folk groups myself but each to their own.

It's an awful awakening in a country boy's life

You got your lyrics mixed. You're supposed to take off your shoes and love me tonight!

No, the lyrics are correct. They're from an obscure Icelandic band that you've never heard of.

I'm hard and I'm scarred and I'm grey. And yeah, I'm stoned most all of the time.

But she won't go home with you cowboy. :P

You'd better move away you're standin' too close to the flame.
Once he messes with your mind your little heart won't beat the same
    Lord he’s a ramblin' man,

You should get your own thread for all these type of posts. Keep them all in the one place. It would make for a great window into your madness.

I think about you when I don't want to, dream about your smiling face, I keep trying not to love you, but I love you anyway.

Yo listen up, here's the story
About a little guy that lives in a blue world
And all day and all night and everything he sees is just blue
    Like him, inside and outside
Blue his house with a blue little window
    And a blue Corvette
And everything is blue for him
    And himself and everybody around
'Cause he ain't got nobody to listen
I'm blue da ba dee da ba daa
Da ba dee da ba daa, da ba dee da ba daa, da ba dee da ba daa
Da ba dee da ba daa, da ba dee da ba daa, da ba dee da ba daa

Well I hope you make the big time, I hope your dreams come true, but if Hollywood don't need you, honey I still do

Now this is a story all about how
My life got flipped-turned upside down
And I'd like to take a minute
    Just sit right there
I'll tell you how I became the prince of a town called Bel-Air

In west Philadelphia born and raised
On the playground was where I spent most of my days
Chillin' out maxin' relaxin' all cool
And all shooting some b-ball outside of the school
When a couple of guys who were up to no good
Started making trouble in my neighborhood
I got in one little fight and my mom got scared
She said, "You're movin' with your auntie and uncle in Bel-Air."

Got to see him in The Olympia in 2014. Glad I did. :)Y'all're somethin' else!

I can still hear the soft southern winds in the live oak trees
And Those Williams boys they still mean a lot to me,
    Hank and Tennessee.
I guess we're all gonna be what we're gonna be,
So what do you do with good ol' boys like me?
