so sad to hear about Jarrod Lyle and his battle with cancer. Seems he has decided to end his treatment as it's not looking likely it will help. poor guy.

Was reading a few articles on it yesterday. Heart breaking stuff for a young guy with a family.

I've met Jarrod and followed him around the golf course on a few occasions. Also know a few guys inside the ropes who have spent quite a bit of time with him and his family. Absolutely devastated by this. He is a class golfer and a true gent of the game of golf struck down by a cruel disease in what should be the peak of his life. Really feel for him and his family right now.

Desperately sad. I was following his progress since November - he started an Instagram page especially to document his third fight with the disease- and it really looked as if he had the beating of it again. The last few updates illustrated the toll it had taken on him but also what a savage fight hed put up. Devastated for his family, only 36 years old.
