I cannot disable paste options in word 2016. I have followed https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vgNYsCus-80 but still get it. I also do not want the box to appear when i copy. I changed the registry setting too but get the options. win 7 32 bit vm

Disabling "paste option" works OK on Word2016 on Win 10 x64

Would a quick ctrl + c, ctrl + v not work? I'm not sure why you would want to remove this feature. I find it handy to match formatting if I'm copying from one document to another.

Also, after pasting pressing the Esc key will remove the dialogue box.

    I'm running Windows 7 64bit Word 2016.

Does it work when you uncheck "show paste options"? (Edit: I know that's the video you linked, but did you restart word / office to see if that works?)

I think you both missed the bit where I stated...

    :pac:

So... did you restart office to see if the option took?

No harm in restarting Word, even VM, but in my case change has instant effect as soon click OK on "Word Options" window to save and all work as expected.

    OP
Try to run Word in safe mode and see if this changes things.
If does, start normal and disable all add-ins, re-enable one-by-one.
