samsung galaxy j5 2015

Hi there.. has anybody had any issues with the j 5?... I got one last dec. and have never been able to get a regular decent signal... I have had the handset changed once and he sim card 3 times... i have even tried a different service provider... I have done a master reset but no difference... I know I can send phone to samsung to check out, and this is my next step but need to find a fone to use for the week while is away..... just thought I would try here first.... thank you
