Sky TV to Saorview - Help!

Experts.... I need your help. Currently have the basic package of Sky Tv. The sky box is located in the attic and the signal goes to 4 rooms via magic eyes. With Netflix and streaming there really isn't any need for sky anymore. Just want Rte etc for matches and so on. Is there any way of simply swapping out the sky box…

Experts.... I need your help.

Currently have the basic package of Sky Tv. The sky box is located in the attic and the signal goes to 4 rooms via magic eyes. With Netflix and streaming there really isn't any need for sky anymore. Just want Rte etc for matches and so on.
Is there any way of simply swapping out the sky box for the Saorview box and continue using the magic eyes?
Do I need a Saorview box for each room? How do I record on them?
Do I need an aerial? How does the Saorview box receive the stations?
Any recommended boxes?
Can I leave the sky box connected via the magic eyes for the extra stations?

Any other tips or points to note?
