Are there any supermarkets and or convenience stores in or around Dunquin? And if not where are the nearest one?
    Staying for the long weekend.
    Thanks.

Not sure if there is any convenience store in Dun Chaoin anymore. I think the nearest might be in Ballyferriter (Not even sure there is one there either) or Ventry. Otherwise it would be Dingle.

There's a small shop in Ballyferriter, likewise, Ventry. There's a petrol station at Milltown, as you head west of Dingle, but not wonderful.Nothing in Dúnchaoin.
Dingle has a big Supervalu, A Spar, Centra and a Lidl. The Supervalu does a good range of prepared foods, salads etc.It has handy parking, as does the Lidl. Spar and Centra are more difficult for parking. The farner's market in on Fridays, in the town centre.

Exactly as byhook says and I'd stress that if you can you should shop early in the morning or later in the evening. Traffic around Dingle can be crazy during summer months. Stock up early, head west, and enjoy the weekend!
