Probably been asked loads of times, but whats the best way to bring money away.

I'm going to China and Thailand and want to try and avoid carrying a large amount of cash with me. On previous trips to Thailand I've only ever brought cash and never had a problem.

With apps and online banking and stuff like that, there must be a better way now.

    This.

Used it in China last year. Topped up using Apple Pay when I needed Remnimbi. Saved me a small fortune.

Isn't there a limit of 200 Euros per month (for free ATM withdrawals)?

2% over £200. Still much cheaper than bank exchange rates.

Can you give me a quick run down on what's involved if you don't mind.

Download the app. Sign up. Order a physical card (optional - you can use a virtual one for online purchases)

    +1 for Revolut

Monese & N26 are similar but Revolut is my default

I travelled to China last summer. Used Revolut, first €200 was free to withdraw. After that it was slightly cheaper to withdraw using my N26 card. I always carry them both just in case I lose one. I used get a terrible exchange rate and a €4.88 charge every time I used my PTSB card.
