14 inch laptop for €500

    Hi guys. Recently returned a refurbished laptop that didn't cut it. Awful screen..HP elitebook 840 G1...

    Battery would just die
    Screen looked like it's from 2005

    But th touchpad buttons were the best I ever used.

    Moving on..


    What I seek is



    lightweight - travelling for a month in Asia so I'd love a really light one 1.7kg or below?

    14" or as low as 13" - same as above, for travelling

    Don't need a cd drive but a HDMI port would be really handy.

    What I'll use the laptop for is assignments for a course I enrolled in, editing go pro footage I shoot during travelling, watching Netflix and general web browsing.

    No gaming or high end video editing. Just a little montage of go pro footage.


    I can get the laptop in Dublin or online.
