Prevent dog urine staining wool carpet?

    What is the best way to stop dog urine staining a beige wool carpet ?



    My little princess, a rescue JRT who has stolen my heart has the odd accident on the carpet. I blot it up with kitchen roll, then sprinkle vinegar and water. It still leaves a bit of a stain. Has anyone any better suggestions?



    Also, can anything be done about old dog urine stains on same beige wool carpet ?

    I have 3 dogs and one of them is prone to the odd, rare accident.

    I have found Dr Beckmann's carpet stain remover to be excellent for most stains. Aldi had it as one of their Special Buys last week so it may still be in store.

    The trick with all stains is to treat it while still fresh, easier said than done!
