Hi considering doing tax exams. I’m exempt from part 1 (ACCA qualified). Just trying to get a feel for what work / study time is required for Part 2 and 3 .. are people mostly doing 4 subjects together in each part of bit by bit. Any advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated?
Ps are they tough like ?? ðŸ§

All four have to be done at the same time, but as they are all interlinked it's better to approach that way.

Part 2 is establishing a solid base. Just read up on CGT from part 1, from memory this was one area for me.

I did the summer courses, but winter provider for a longer approach.

Papers questions and more papers that was it, practice was key.

They are hard, but if you like tax then it's very much worth it.

I ended up moving from small practice to a tax role in a top 8 firm, if moving is your motive.

Summer course from May to August every second weekend study both days. Took 3 weeks off doing 10 hours a day papers, this included 4 days of exams.

Winter obviously more time to structure study. Start early and plan, but practise is the key. Timing etc.

Part 2 is core basics, part 3 expands on this and more

Do it, it's very worth while.

Cheers for that. I thought when I seen the subjects individually priced they could be done separately.. so good to know !
