Buying a piano

    Hi all,

I am planning to buy a piano this year and have been having a look in a few shops (Waltons, Tynan's, Piano Plus, Straffan Antiques). I am just wondering if there are any other shops I should look in? I have looked at some old threads on this topic and I know Thornton's have been mentioned but am I right in saying there are two separate Thornton's shops? In which case which one should I look in?

I reckon I will most likely buy a Yamaha upright (having tried several different brands and not found one I prefer as yet).

Thanks in advance for any help!
