    Is anybody familiar with this hotel in Cobh, I've heard very bad reviews about it being tatty and overpriced

    I was there a couple of months ago.

    Its not a bells and whistles modern day hotel and I hope it never becomes one.

    Fantastic classic old style hotel - big rooms and clean. Good creaky floor boards and a little dated, but it almost adds to the charm.

    Great bar and great breakfast. We paid €95 b&b and felt it was great value.
