Hi I'm hoping someone can help. I have to do some salary recalculations back to 1988/89. I have searched everywhere online and all our old tax books but I don't have this year. I'm looking for the table allowances that were used for calculations in this year for table B. I can find the tax rates applicable in the year and the A &R bands but not B,C, S and T. I know it's a long shot but maybe someone would have a copy of the table for that year. Thanks in Advance

I have found the Finance Act 1988 with the bands and some of the credits for the years 1987/88 and 1988/89. The most obvious ones are the personal and the now called PAYE credit, you might want to continue reading to see if there are more credits available and how any other circumstances may change the calculations. And also the very obvious one of the figures being in IE pounds and not euros, but I assume your income figures are going to be in IE pounds and you already know about it (just in case).

    I hope this helps. :)
