    Whats happening with the Lough Talt water supply or will we be without a drinking water supply for years to come.

    Hi mg1982,

    Thanks for getting in touch.

    The Lough Talt Boil Water Notice was extended earlier this year following further failed samples for cryptosporidium and remains in place until further notice.

    Irish Water are liaising with the Health Service Executive with a view to lifting the Boil Water Notice as soon as practicable. You can find more details on this notice here.
