Anyone doing this? I can't find any thread about it.

I'm doing it with my kid, she just turned 9 last week. She has never run before. All for a good cause, and especially close to home with my family in the last couple of months so it was good timing in a way for us.

It has gotten me interested again in getting out for a few runs here and there. I was ready to give up though after a week  but having made the commitment, it was a great motivator. We are doing pretty well in the fundraising stakes, but still a way off our goal, mind you, there are a few promises to come in but will believe them when I see them!

Hoping to get out for another run this evening and on Saturday we hope to complete our Marathon in a Month by going for our longest run yet at the Parkrun 5km.

I think when we are finished we should come in close to 5:15. I know it is broken down into smaller runs, but still quite happy with that.
