Broadband question

Hi, I am living in a house with Eir broadband on the ground floor, and we are looking for a way to have both a wired connection and wifi available in the attic. It is not possible to run a cable that far for a wired connection and wifi signal will not reach due to concrete walls.
Other than powerline adapters or a wifi extender, is there any way to install a second modem in the attic from the same line? Or would a second line have to be opened to make this happen?
    Thanks
