Incidents involving horse boxes and trucks on motorways

    Came across an article regarding an incident on the M50 over the weekend, and then the Examiner's article also makes reference to an incident on the M1 in which the horses weren't so lucky:

    I know it's something we're aware of, but I don't think any of us would like to be involved in something like this. It's nice to see that the articles mention that drivers should give consideration to lorries and horse boxes, but it's something that most people don't do and want to hold 'their' part of the road which they feel they're entitled to, regardless of the conditions, the size of the other vehicle, etc. etc. etc.
