Looking for someone to come along and put up a UHF high gain aerial for Saorview. Probably with a masthead amplifier as well. I'd prefer do it myself but heights wouldn't be my thing.

Just want someone to come along - put the aerial up in the best place and pointing at the optimal transmitter. So someone with some degree of know how.

Cabling only needs to be to a central point in the house - it's distributed from there around the house.

Any recommendations for someone competent in North County Dublin?

A high gain aerial + a masthead amplifier in Dublin? Do you enjoy overloading and blocky pictures?

Just get the aerial up with a lead to the central point. Almost certainly a passive splitter there will be all that is required.

We're in a bit of a hollow - don't have direct line to transmitter

Either way - I presume a competent installer would be able to measure the signal strength/quality and would make that decision at installation time.

Eugen (that's how he spells his name) from Sat-Tech did a good satellite installation for me a few years ago, and I have only read good things about them.

More details on Facebook as well.

What part of north Dublin are you in?

Could try ‘Meade audio vision’ in Drogheda.
    Highly recommended.

Malahide should fair well with Freeview from Kilkeel and Clermont Carn saorview through the one antenna
