I changed from coarse to nuts the last few days and they don't like them. I am using the take it or leave it approach

Ad lib 18% in a bull feeder, and a round bale every 2/3 days to 50 of them....

Would have to buy fodder for them and it's more expensive than ration...so fu## it..

If grass is gone minimum roughage and 4kgs 15%p beef nuts will keep them motoring.

Would they eat much ad lib... giving my 50 2kg of a 17% calf ration and theyre eating a bale in a day and a half

Calf ration is expensive though is anyone feeding a soya/rolled barley straights mix?
