Polishing

I came across an old Fossil Blue watch I got as a present almost 16 years ago. Now it's well beat up as I wore it every day for about 5 years before is was left into a box and forgot about.

So on finding it over the weekend it had stopped running so I replaced the battery and got a bit of a surprise when I seen it uses a Ronda movement. Thought it would be total cheap crap in it. Anyway popped a new battery in mind it's working perfectly. It's so comfortable on the wrist.

It has some sentimental value so I wouldn't mind getting it a clean and polish. I could try myself as it's worth about €20 now.

So has anyone any ideas where I could get this done cheap? or is anyone looking for a watch to practice on? Without ruining now mind. I'll put a picture of it on my instagram later if anyome wants to see it. Glass is all scratched too.

I got a quote of €120 for a Speedmaster in Dawsons Jewellers a couple of weeks ago. Sounds about right for the amount of work needed to get it perfect.

Can you show the after pics if you get it done :)

At €120 I think I'll rock the beat up watch look

I'd be the same. :) From the photo it looks pretty good to me TBH. Nice looking watch with it. Has that feel of the 90's to it. I have found Fossil watches to be generally well bolted together and they have more inventive designs in one year than the Swiss come up with in a decade.

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.
