A friend of mine in researching UK universities found there is a private not-for-profit university in Buckingham-
    https://www.buckingham.ac.uk/medicine

36,500 sterling per year but only 4.5 years. No Gamsat !!! they accept on interviews and Leaving Cert results- 2 H1 4H2 including maths chemistry and biology was offered, Clearly not for everyone but is another possibility as entry to Medicine and one I wasn't aware of and have not seen discussed on forums.
Not yet got full General Medical Council acceptance but all years applied for accepted so far.
You would have to be an intern or FY as they call them for 2 years in the UK but could then apply for Irish training jobs.
I have no association with this school at all- as stated I am just making people aware of another possible route into medicine.

I'd imagine 175,000 euro fees makes it unfeasible for most EU students. Also for that sort of money you'd want training in a more comprehensive hospital then Milton Keynes and you'd expect a GMC license.
