    Folks
Looking through the forum the following laptop comes recommended
    http://www.pcworld.ie/mobile/Product/lenovo-ideapad-320s-14-intel-pentium-laptop-128-gb-ssd-grey/338166/396.0.0?&#ctl00_ctl00__nestedContent__mainpageContent_ProductFamilyDetailsView1_liProductDetails

That laptop has no Ethernet port. Is that the way most laptops are now? Any laptop with similar spec that has an ethernet port?

Laptop is for my father. He doesn't like laptops because of the touchpad and small screen!!
I've explained he can use a traditional mouse if he wants and also connect the laptop to his current screen.
Problem is his current screen doesn't have a HDMI port, just the RS232.
That's not a show stopper because if we have to get a new screen we have to get a new screen. It would be preferable not to have to though.

So any recommendations? Preferably with ethernet and RS232 but not essential?

Is the best way to go to get the one linked above and buy a new screen?
Needs to be bricks and mortar store. Galway/Mayo area.
    Thanks
