Balcony Fencing - Apartment

    Morning All

I know there have been threads on this before...but I'm just keen to get latest wisdom on a recommended option. It's the usual metal balcony railings - ground floor. For some little privacy I'm keen to get something. I'm confused over willow/bamboo - different messages over which is best, e.g. durability, etc. Plus significant price range. I like the idea of plastic-covered wire as I suspect the wire is first thing to go. I was also planning to secure with plastic ties - stronger I think. Any recent experience of selecting one ?...and happy with it ?.

    Thanks,
    K

How about an artificial hedge screen?

Hadn't really thought of a hedge. I've prob 10m of railings so could be expensive with that length of hedge. Area also narrow and the hedges would eat in to available space. Thanks for the reply though...definitely a thought.
    Thanks, K

Boxwood hedge screen is pretty flat so it wouldn't take up much space at all.

www.outdoor.ie have a interconnecting boxwood tile on their website, it'll give you an idea of how it would look and how much you'd need.

10 metres is a lot to cover though so a lot to think about!
