Didn't think the 7700 had a great reputation. They had the small engine . The legendary 8.1 litre powertec was introduced on the 7710 and 7810 both these are reckoned to be great machines . In general though all the 10 series were good hard to beat the 6910 or 6810 as all rounders . The 78 and 77 were not good road tractors . I suppose as is generally said the 10 series was John deere's finest hour.
