    Well lads

Have a silage field aftergrass that need to tackle for docks.

I haven't used this product, anyone here first hand experience?

Other option is Doxstar Pro. Expensive!

    Options and opinions please! ;)

Used Hurler here last spring in some of the paddocks, docks are back again this year same as ever.

If you want to get rid of docks use the doxstar. Or even better still, Forefront T. (Both will not do Clover any good though in case you are concerned about that and there are some restrictions on using Forefront if you plan to take silage out of it or want to export slurry.)
Forefront is expensive but very good. 2L is €95 on agridirect.ie and that will do 1ha.
Doxstar pro is €83 on magentadirect.ie to cover the same area.

Were in the same position needing to treat docks after silage cut.

Grass is finally growing a tiny bit again here so less afraid to spray.

However, much of the doc regrowth is eaten to bits with whatever that green beetle is many of the leaves are skeletons.

Will they absorb the spray ?? At €80-90/Ha it wouldn’t want to not work.

I used Doxstar pro in silage ground in 2017 and 2016, the docks were as bad this spring as ever.
Was put out according to the label, i went with the full dose in one spray. Some lads will tell you to put out half dose before silage cut and half in the aftergrass, i'm not sure what difference that would make to be honest.

I'm going to try Forefront T when we finally get a bit of regrowth going.
Does anyone know what the limitations are if spraying Forefront T, as in, if i spray the aftergrass now i presume it's ok to take silage next spring??
