Which Jobby

I have a video setup that includes a Canon M6 (mirrorless); SmallRig Cage; Rode VideoMini.

I want to add a jobby, for convenience of carrying and placing the camera. Would you suggest a Joby GorillaPod 1K or 3K... The 3K looks like it has a much better mount, but also allot more bulky... I'm trying to decide which is more important, size and weight or flexibility...

If I went with the 3k I might consider an extra mount for my current tripod.

Thanks for all the advice... in the end I went for the ballhead (arca swiss fitting) off the 5k & the 3k legs. buying separate wasn't too expensive. Now I need to try to manhandle a ballhead onto my existing tripod to match...

Following all the input I received I ended up abandoning the modification to my old tripod and getting the Benro IT15... Simple light travel tripod with an acra Swiss ball head, monopod & cost effective price. Read some good reviews too.

I won't use it often, but need one to hand when the job requires.
