I've got quite a specific question for anybody who has run over the end of their funding for postgrad research. Fees clearly won't be paid if you go beyond the length of the funding, but has anybody any experience of people getting travel expenses for conferences (or similar) after the end point of their funding? This is in relation to SFI, but I'd assume that the same rules would apply to most/all bodies (like IRC, whatever).
