Evening. Is there any way of finding out if Norwich airport is able to handle jets or is it just props?

It has daily jet traffic and has had for years. Up to 737/A320 sized at least.

They do not, you cannot fly from Ireland.

Flybe used to operate flights to Norwich from Dublin, but it looks like they've dropped it, the only possible route would be via Manchester, I suspect that if you don't like smaller turboprops, that may not suit, as it's a loganair flight from Manchester to Norwich, not sure how often it runs or what days.

Shore, if it was easy, everybody would be doin it.😁

Flew with Balkan Holidays a few years back to Bulgaria from Belfast, picked passengers up in Norwich en route...

If I remember the story correctly, Norwich managed to persuade one or mor of the low cost airlines to operate from there. Got themselves a big chunk of controlled airspace too, really hit the big time. Then they introduce some passenger levy for development or some such so the lo cost guys pulled out. That must be a decade or so ago.

Many thanks for replies. Family member moving from London to Norwich so I guess it's Stansted and train which leaves from the airport...

I done Stansted to Norwich several times. If It's a short stay, rent a car. :)
