Not sure about this but I've seen a job opening that I'm quite interested in and I'm thinking of applying for, the trouble is I applied to the same company and was interviewed about 8 months ago. The interview didn't go particularly well and I was unsuccessful, this new job is a bit better suited to my skills but I'm wondering if it's worth applying to them again? Many thanks.

You dont have anything to lose by applying
How successful you'll be getting another interview would depend on a load of external factors
It may not be the same people reviewing CVs this time or indeed the same interviewers

Some companies have rules in place that if you have applied and being unsuccessful in the previous 12 months they will not accept applications. Other than that, no reason to not.

The current company i work with interviewed me three times (different LOB), the first two times i was turned down because i had two much experience and they felt i would leave after a couple of weeks. Eventually they had a role that was more suited and interviewed me for the role.

    So definitely re-apply.
