    Guys, buying an ssd for a laptop, probably will be going for 500gb, looking for best value ssd for money at the moment? Will probably be ordering from Amazon. Cheers

    The Samsung Evo 860 500gb is around 90 pounds at the moment on Amazon. I'm not an expert so I will wait till the other guys respond to the thread, but it does seem like a deal.

    860 Evo. It's a great price at the moment, and the write endurance on it is much higher than the 850.
    You could look at the MX500 as well, but it's basically the same price, performs a little worse, and has lower endurance, so there's no real reason to.
