    Hey!!

We got my son a 2nd hand dune buggy a couple of years ago. Thing hasn't run since we got it. My husband and him are going to do a full over haul of it and are stripping it totally. They want to put in a new engine, wires etc. They're looking for something that's a pull start preferably but will wire in a push start - that's what it is presently. We just can't find anywhere to buy an engine...... any ideas????

You will have to tell us what the existing engine is? In my day a dune/beach buggy was based on a VW Beetle, so used an air cooled Beetle engine. If you talking about 'pull start' then I assume it may be a larger Briggs and Stratton engine, commonly found the ride on mowers etc.
