    Having been to both, I'd 100% say Newcastle for a session weekend.

    Mental place. Try go on a match day for added madness!

    Edinburgh is much nicer though

    Edinburgh to live but Newcastle for that sort of thing. If you want to head to Scotland you are better off in Glasgow for a lads weekend session you probably aren't going to get the most out of Edinburgh! Glasgow and Newcastle are definitely more suited to that sort of thing!

    Edinburgh is a good spot for a weekend away with friends or the OH, but if you're going on the sauce for a few days, Newcastle is more geared towards that and it's a lot cheaper. I find Edinburgh quite expensive for the UK.
