    Hey all,

I foolishly turned on the oven while my laptop was on top of the hob (didn't spot it, was v. tired, don't give out!) and the heat caused the screen case to warp. The case has separated and cracked, its all very flexible.

I've attached a few images, just wondering if it's worth trying to fix? Laptop is an Asus UX360C, it's touchscreen and once or twice the touchscreen has gone haywire.

Laptop cost me about €550, is it worth trying to fix?

As long as the screen itself is still working I don't think I'd bother. Unless you can get a case cheap of ebay. Are the hinges damaged?

1 is, I've discovered that it's forcing the screen into the keyboard part of I don't close it just so, which has caused a crack on the screen. It's all a bit annoying really...

No being able to close it properly would annoy me too. As I say you might get the body off ebay.
