Rental issue with family having kids

Hi all,

I am searching accommodation in Cork from last 6 to 8 months and most of the time I got refusal because my family consist of 3 kids. I am working in Cork from last 4+years and don't want to relocate because my kids now speak Cork-accent English.
I tried to contact Cork city council but they told that your earning is more than 39K so we could not able to help you. Now my landlord asked me to leave the apartment and I don't have any shelter.
Could anyone guide me or any experience of Housing grants/ loans from city council or affordable housing scheme.

I maybe looking for a place there soon. I hear the rent and amount of people looking to rent a place is Hugh. I just had a quick look and €1400 a month for a 3 bedroom is the lowest I have seen that's of any standard.

DO you have to say how many children you have? Maybe try get a baby sitter when viewing and say nothing about children .
