Thanks OP...very timely as my Gold expired last week.

You can get it for €3-5 cheaper but from much shadier websites so this looks like a pretty sound deal

Q: I'm guessing these are "geo-locked" meaning I cant buy the UK one for much cheaper?

Happy days... I'm going to register now... for the kids of course ;)
I think I'm registered on a UK site or something (Is there an Ireland one?)

Dunno, maybe it's for first time subscribers. so £26.99 for me

Edit.. well I got to the credit card payment and it wouldn't let me select an Irish post code or change the UK option on the drop down box..... so I just picked some random postcode from up the north.. bobs yer uncle. I don't think the credit card company cares about the postcode you pay with.

Did your Irish Xbox account accept the UK Live code you bought?

Did the same... it worked... super deal! £26.50 = €30!! Just have to remember to stop the auto renewal in July next year! EDIT: you can actually de-activate the renewal right away

Great find OP and thanks for the suggestion evolving_doors

Did you have to change your account to UK for this to work? I got an error about country mismatch when at payment process screen.

If you have an active IE sub it won't work, if you don't have a current subscription it should work

Topcashback is giving £8 back on 12 month Gold currently - tracked fine for me when I purchased for €40 off the IE site.
