Hi my dog died. I am digging a grave.
Anything I need to be aware of?
I am going 3/4ft Down. Do I need to put lime into grave. Thanks.

Sorry for the loss of your dog.

I think if you go deep, it should be ok. You need it to be deep enough that other animals can’t dig down.

    So sorry....

I always top the grave with a layer of big stones.

I think it needs to be at least 1.4m down, and that's as long as it didn't die of any kind of virus, in which case it would have to be cremated. And you can get individual cremations done. I have my kitty cremated, on her own, a few years back, and got a lovely wooden curled up kitty casket.
