Google maps not working for me

My google maps has stopped working properly and I can’t figure out how to fix it. If I enter a destination and press start it shows the route on the map and says “Head North “ etc but then gives no further instructions/directions, eg it used to say ‘take second exit on roundabout ‘ etc and now nothing. I deleted the app and downloaded it again but no better. Anyone have any idea how to fix this please?

Could be due to your clock settings. Think it has to be set to automatic. Had something like this before and it couldn't calculate the time required for the journey.

Maybe you should just head north.

Could be the flux capacitor that's broken.
