    And a second one, this thing sat miserably in a pot outside for the last year or so, then suddenly it bloomed!

    I've no idea. No camelias nearby so that would be strange, but cool. Looks a bit like griselinia but with more tender leaves.

    Thought that too but leaf has some serration which griselinia wouldn't have.


    Maybe a Laurel or Bay even...

    Platycodon alright..with a pheasant berry seedling too.

    Pheasant berry would be great, I was actually looking for one. Was wondering why stems were different colours....2 different plants would make sense!
