Anyone have one of these and have any issues?
Have it installed since February and been fine but just noticed when I was driving home from work my battery level was low which was weird as I plugged it in last night.
When I got home saw the zappi was dead, breaker tripped.
Flipped it back and it didn't trip again but unit still dead.
Checked voltage going to the unit and it's getting 240 to the unit.

    Any ideas?
Got it from Phil in ElectricAutos so I'll give them a shout tomorrow if no one here knows.
PITA as I'm down to 60km range and I need ~80 to get to work, guess it's going on the granny charger tonight! :(

Sorry to hear that, but surely you'll get it replaced under warranty if it is dead.

    Chauffe, Marcel, chauffe!

You probably tried this already, but are you sure the car is ready for the charge? As in you have selected "charge now" in the Ioniq?

Yep. It's charging off the granny cable now. The unit is dead :(

Sorry for your troubles. I had vague plans to replace my ABL unit with a Zappi at some point in future after I install more solar PV (it can send excess electricity to the car), but maybe I need to do more research into their reliability! Could of course just be a one off.

Are there any faults showing on the unit?

Maybe ring the manufacturer directly, there customer service is quite good, they might be able to diagnose something before sending it back.
Ok, I just reread the op, if the unit is dead maybe contact your electrician first.
Also you can download the manual from their website if you don't have it already.

Just wondering, did you find out what went wrong with your charger?

Not yet, they came out and checked it and myenergi have given them some more things to check so I need to organise to get them back out. I'll update when I do, might be a couple of weeks before I can.

Just posting a reply on this.

So the folks at Electric Autos in Naas sorted it out for me, they checked the connections (in case it was the installer that left a lose cable) then while I was on holidays they sorted out a warranty replacement from myenergi. Called me the day I got back from holidays and came out to replace it the next day with a new unit.

Great service from Phil, Siobhan, and Mark
