    Hi,

I live in a small space but would like to get a new HiFi for some decent sound.  I previously owned a denon midi hif (I think the DM38 at the time, the D-M41DAB is the latest).
This sounded great with the stock speakers, but I would be interested to know of what other options there is, specifically with Bluetooth or wireless connectivity.

Also - specifically with the D-M41DAB, I would be interested to hear how good the bluetoothe is.

    Cheers,
    km

    Hi KM.

The DM41 is the one to go for. Its 5 star reviewed in What HiFi and we had demoed them inside out and they perform as they should while still producing a good sound.

The Bluetoorth operates as it should and we have never has any issues with it.

We would not stock the Denon speakers but if you click on the link below the are several package deals with speakers if any might be of interest to you.
    https://www.richersounds.com/catalogsearch/result/index/?product_list_dir=asc&product_list_order=price&q=dm41

You could also pair it with the like of the Q Acoustics 2010 priced at £79.00
    https://www.richersounds.ie/p-11476-black-11476.aspx

Or the 2020i's priced at £99.00
    https://www.richersounds.ie/p-11473-graphite-307697.aspx

However if you wanted a unit that can connect via wifi and has digital connection also then there is the Marantz MCR611. its a bit more expensive coming in at £299.00

Thanks for the info - When I had the DM38 I had the standard speakers(SC-M37 I think), which I was quite happy with (Nice and bassy but sometimes the highs were muted).

What would be a similar speaker (in terms of good bass)?  Or would any of the above be an improvement?

Also - If I order tonight or Tomorrow, how soon can the be delivered to Dublin City Centre?

    Cheers,
    KM

    Hey KM.

In my opinion the 2010 or the 2020i's would be better than the Denon speakers.
Don't get me wrong the Denon's are not bad but Q Acoustics are very well know for their speakers. Denon not so much.

If ordered today or tomorrow it would be delivered in Dublin City Centre on Friday.

ok, perfect - I was looking at the deal with the 3010is - whats the best price, delivered for Friday, with recommended speaker cable (only need 4m cable)?

    Hi KM.

The best would be the listed price of these unfortunately as the 3010 are already discounted down to £99.00

Total would be £298 and I could offer to add 4m meters of symphony 100 speaker cable free of charge.
Delivery would come in at £6.99

Ok - I am a little confused about the numbering system of the Q Acoustics Speakers.

As far as i can tell 2XXX is the older series than 3XXX - but what does the i signify (i.e. 3010 vs 3010i) and wat does the last two digits signify (2020 vs 2010 for example)?

Also - for Fri delivery, what is the cut off time?

    Hi Kenm.

The 2010 and the 2010 where the first generation of the speaker. They then produced the upgraded 2010i and 2020i.

After a few years Q Acoustics produced the 3010 and 3020 to replace the 2000 series but due to popularity they kept the 2000 series going for a while. It has now been discontinued with limited stock left.

A few years later then they upgraded the 3010 and 3020 to the 3010i and 3020i which have only been released for a few moths.
The i is basically the upgraded version.

The 2010i, 3010 and 3010i are the smaller of the two ranges and have slightly smaller drivers over the 2020i, 3020 and 3020i's

All speaker manufacturers release new products every lot of years which improve on the previous versions.

I hope this is of help.

For Friday delivery cut off is 1pm today.

Thanks for the info - so for the Denon system the 2020i seems the best bang for the buck?  The 3 series just looks a little nicer?

Looks like I missed the cut off tho - I will Order for next week instead.

    Thanks again!
