I was wondering if anyone knows if there’s something that can be applied to the edge of carpet (where it meets the door) to stop it from fraying?

We had carpet fitted but the fitter didn’t return to add the brass for 2 months. In that time the cats managed to pull at the edge fraying them. Now even with the brass they’re still able to pull at the edges.

Try Copydex or a similar latex adhesive.
