Professional Advice Sought

    I have a friend in need of some professional advice.

    They have an existing poorly built garden shed and are looking to either improve it or knock and rebuild. They want to end up with a room that can be used as a music room to practice in and store some musical instruments and gear. Nothing too loud. They want a space that will be comfortable and won't cost the earth to heat. Nothing too big. Certainly much less than 25sqm.

    They have already approached builders and received quotes for different options.

    I suggested they get some professional advice from an architect or engineer before committing to anything and offered to see if I could get a recommendation from here for someone they could engage with.

    So looking for recommendations by PM for someone to come and visit their house and give them some advice principally on build/insulation etc.

    They live in Cork city.
