    Hi
Looking for approx ball park cost of replacing current windows (7) to double glazed upvc, installing French doors where current patio is and a composite front and back door...

I am a little clueless and about to price around so would welcome guidance! Standard 4 bed semi house.

    Thanks
    Maura

A composite door is about 2-3k. So I reckon all in you're looking at 9-10k. Best bet is get 3 quotes, but spec it out e.g. set your U value (how much heat it will lose) and your security spec.

I'll have lads coming in on Friday to take measurements, they should be reasonably priced so we'll see how it goes (7 windows, front and back doors), I'll give you the heads up when they come back with the quote

Just got a price for a palladio front door, (its a bay door with 2 side panels) for €2600
The French doors were half that

No clue on windows, I'm broke after the 2 doors

Try Grady Joinery. They have a showroom in Maynooth.
