No badge or LED notifications for Viber

Since i upgraded to Android 8.0 I get not notifications in Viber. It is only when I open the app that I will see how many messages I have. There is no LED or no number badge on the app icon like other apps. Has anyone else had this problem?

I had a similar issue on 8.0. Check that its allowed run in the background. Certain apps by default are not allowed and therefore dont show incoming notifications. You may need to whitelist it on the "background activity manager"
