Internal Porch?

    Hi,

    Are there any simple creative ideas to make an internal porch?

    Basically, street house, so cannot have porch but want a double door system to enter the house and have little small area sectioned off from main corridor.

    First thing that comes to mind is just get a builder to put up a small internal wall and door to divide the hallway but I'm wondering if there are any creative semi-permanent cheap ways to do this without building work.

    What about using glass blocks to create your wall, depending on the size/shape of your hall. Would prevent loss of light in the hallway

    What is he purpose of this ?

    Trying to understand the problem.

    It is heat loss then use curtains over the door.

    If it's people standing in , let them stand outside we don't live in Siberia.
