Question about insuring old cars [2004 and under]

    Hello,

I've recently been wanting to purchase an older car such as a IS200 or Toyota Corolla, but I like the older versions of the car. But apparently, someone has told me the other day that Insurance companies are now not insuring cars over 10 years old, I was just wondering is this true?

    Thanks.

Its not strictly true. Otherwise all cars older than 08 wouldn’t have insurance.

Have you any no claims bonus/driving experience?

    Moved to insurance forum.
Check out the sticky "Insurance for >15 year old cars"
