Staying a night in Da Nang and a couple of nights in Hoi An? Looking for recommendations for things to do in this timeframe, cheers

We only drove through Da Nang so can't comment.

Hoi An is a lovely little place for 2-3 nights (i'd recommend 3). There's not a huge amount to do there.... we stayed in the town and spent 1 full day cycling to the beach and just hung around drinking / eating. Then cycled back through the rice fields.

The old town is a picturesque place at night with all the lanterns. It's a bit of a back-packer place so has a real chilled vibe. When Googling 'things to do', I don't remember anything sticking out as a 'must do'.

TBH, as mentioned, we spent our time there to just hang out and remember that we are travelling, and a part of travelling is just chilling.

Don't feel too tempted to stay right in the old town... we stayed about 1km out and borrowed the hotel bicycles (almost everywhere has them). It's flat, so eventhough the bikes will most likely be carp, they're fine for getting around.

    Enjoy!
