Had some plastering done on our ceiling and there's a fair few drip marks from that green thistlebond stuff. Any tips on the best way to clean it off as water and fairy liquid isn't cutting the mustard? Lightly sand it off then touch up the paint?

Whoever put it on should have cleaned it off when wet. However, get a scraper, the stanley blade type & it should peel off without damage
