Emish x800 crashing

Got this from gearbest as a surprise bag deal at Christmas, and see that they then offered them at same price a few months ago. Has been great/ okayish up to yesterday, when it has taken to crashing every time I try to open an app or do anything. Is there any hope for it or is it just add to the landfill?
