Macbook Insurance

Now that a new macbook pro has launched with the option of 32GB RAM I'm looking at replacing my old macbook pro after 4 years of loyal service.
I tend to max out the specs (run a lot of VMs etc.) and I travel quite a bit with my laptop.
I purchase applecare, so it's theft or major accidental damage I want cover against.

The laptop would exceed both the unspecified all risks cover limit on my house insurance policy (€2000) and is also above the specified item limit they'll cover for a piece of electronics (€5000).
Any of the gadget insurance companies I've looked at won't cover a laptop over €1600 value.

Are there any other options out there?
